The Wilton School is for the first time in Italy to give the chance to 20 European students to achieve a Professional Diploma in Cake decorating: a unique experience you cannot miss!

The Wilton Master Course is indeed a professional course for teachers, bakers, caterers, chefs, enthusiasts or beginners. Designed to prepare students for a career in cake decorating, this course teaches basic techniques to design and decorate party cakes and ultimately, a fully decorated 3-tiered display wedding cake. Students perform all decorating under close supervision of Sandra Folsom , head of the Wilton School in Chicago with over 30 years of cake decorating experience,  and learn to make 15 flowers and 20 different borders. Coffee break and lunch are included and class materials are furnished, such as Decorating Cakes book, tips, nails ,decorating bags and more.

The Wilton Master Course is a 67 hour course ,which will run for 9 full days, from Monday till Friday 9,00 – 5,00 p.m. the first week, the weekend will be off, the second week will run from Monday till Thursday 9,00 – 18,00. The course will be held at the Hotel Petra in Rome.

Day 2
Basketweave, Bead Border, Cornelli Lace
Shell and Reverse Shell
Stringwork, Crown Border, Zigzag and Ruffled Garland
Embellished Borders

Day 3
Chandelier and Colonial Scroll Borders
Fill, frost and demonstrate assembly of wedding cake
Demo making of Royal Icing
Drop flowers, sweet peas and rosebuds

Day 4
Carnations, Half Carnations Rose, Half Rose, Primrose, Victorian Rose

Day 5
Rose review, Easter Lily, Petunia, Wild Rose, Daisy, Daffodil
Prepare Styrofoam® dummy cakes

Day 6
Flower making for wedding cake
Pansy, Mum, Bachelor Button
Color Flow Project
Piping Gel Project

Day 7
Flower making for wedding cake
Demo on wiring flowers, coloring techniques, highlighting with Pearl Dust
Writing and printing
Flower and embellished border design

Day 8
Flower making for wedding cake
Apply borders and flowers learned to decorate a sample display cake
Begin assembly of 3-tier wedding cake

Day 9
Decorate the individual 3-tier wedding cake

General Conditions and payment rules

The registration to the course is due together with the payment that can be fully submitted or divided into three rates:

Euro 500,00 when registering
Euro 500,00 by November 30th  2011
Euro 500,00 by February 28th 2012

Whenever the registration is made after one of the limits above the participant should make the full payment until that date.

If the participant cancels his registration by February 28th 2012, the value already payed for will be totally refunded; if the participant cancels after February 28th 2012 Italian Cupcakes will only refund 50% of the total payment. The cancellation to the course has to be communicated via email to wilton@italiancupcakes.it  in order to receive confirmation from Italian Cupcakes.
